Signal Cables
Signal cables are specially designed to transmit low-level electrical signals and are widely used in various fields such as communications, automation control, computer networks, and industrial control systems.
The conductor is made of copper or silver-plated copper with good electrical conductivity.
Insulation is wrapped around the outside of the conductor to prevent current leakage and short circuits between conductors. Common insulating materials are polyethylene (PE), polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and so on.
The shielding layer contains one or more layers of shielding in order to reduce the effect of external electromagnetic interference on the signal: woven copper mesh, aluminum foil, or other forms of metal shielding.
The winding layer sometimes has a layer of polymer material as a winding layer, which protects the internal insulation from damage by the shielding layer and enhances the overall mechanical strength of the cable.
The outermost protective layer of the sheath resists physical damage, chemical corrosion, and environmental factors. Commonly used sheath materials are PVC and polyurethane (PU).
Considering the bending and stretching that may be encountered during installation, cables have great flexibility and strength.
Different applications have different requirements for cables, such as whether they need to be resistant to oil, water, dust or fire.
